The original Cardiff Chamber of Commerce served the city's business community for many years as a central hub for networking, advocacy, and business support. However, when it closed its doors in 2010, Cardiff lost a vital resource — a trusted, centralised directory and support network for local businesses.
In the years that followed, no single organisation stepped in to fill that void comprehensively. Businesses were left scattered across generic national directories, social media platforms, and fragmented local listings — making it harder for customers to find them and harder for businesses to connect with one another.
The Cardiff Chamber Business Directory was created to address exactly this gap. We set out to build a modern, digital-first directory purpose-built for Cardiff — one that combines the discoverability of a traditional chamber directory with the convenience and reach of today's technology.
